Julie joined Chortek & Gottschalk in September 2005. She has gained particular proficiency with small business clients, unions, non-profit organizations and 401(k) and pension plan audits. Her knowledge and experience enable her to consistently manage efficient and effective audit, review and compilation engagements.
Julie strives to get to know her clients’ businesses from the bottom up. Clients appreciate her ability to offer constructive suggestions and comments, thereby adding value beyond the basic engagement.
Julie graduated in 1996 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor of accounting degree. A member of the American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, Julie is also active in her community and served for eight years as treasurer for the Friends of Wehr Nature Center, part of the Milwaukee County Park System.
