Greg Junek

 Greg Junek has been the Managing Partner of Chortek & Gottschalk, LLP since 2005. While primarily responsible for the management and overall direction of the firm, he continues to maintain client responsibility.

Greg uses his accounting, tax and consulting experience to address a wide variety of financial issues facing closely held clients of the firm, especially those clients in the manufacturing and wholesale/distribution industries.

Prior to joining the firm in 1985, Greg obtained extensive financial experience with a publicly held company. He also has five years of audit experience with an international public accounting firm.  

Greg is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Wisconsin Institute of CPAs and the Alliott Group (a worldwide alliance of independent firms).

Greg graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.

Pat Wirth

Mr. Wirth is responsible for overseeing the non-business tax unit and the emerging business unit at Chortek & Gottschalk. Pat has extensive experience in accounting, tax preparation and strategic planning for closely held businesses and their executives. Pat’s expertise helps clients maintain and grow their wealth via creative estate and gift planning. He incorporates the use of technology for his clients by using modeling tools to provide detailed evaluations of cash flow projections, lease versus buy alternatives and the tax impact of business decisions.

Pat is an accredited Certified Valuation Analyst, and also heads up the Business Valuation unit.

Pat is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Wisconsin Institute of CPAs, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Pat graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.

Scott Henkel

Mr. Henkel is responsible for keeping the firm updated and trained on new tax laws and opportunities. Scott has experience in income taxation, tax planning and tax compliance for businesses and individuals. He makes sure all of the firm’s clients meet their tax deadlines. Scott uses his knowledge of multi-state taxation to evaluate the potential tax impacts of business decisions on a multi-state and federal level for the firm’s clients.

Scott is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Wisconsin Institute of CPAs. He is also an active member of the Franklin Lions Club.

Scott lives in Franklin with his wife Laurie and their two children.

Scott graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He went on to receive his Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Mark Albrecht

Mark leads the Assurance and Accounting Practice of the firm. He has extensive experience with a wide variety of clients in the manufacturing, distribution, service and real estate industries.

His 25 years of experience provides him with the knowledge to consult with clients in the areas of improving operations and profitability,budget development, cost and financial analysis, forecasts and projections, internal controls, building effective management reporting systems, and finding financial resources for growth.

In addition to his work in the Audit and Accounting Practice, Mark works with CGK, a member of the C&G Group, on mergers and acquisition projects for clients in the areas of due diligence engagements, structuring transactions in order to maximize the tax benefits, preparing companies for sale, and or transitioning businesses to family or management.

Mark, a Certified Public Accountant, is a member of the American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

He lives in Brookfield with his wife and three daughters. He has a more than casual interest in the Packers, Marquette Golden Eagles and the Wisconsin Badgers and frequently threatens to play enough golf to be good at it.

He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin -Eau Claire, a board member of Wisconsin Lutheran Institutional Ministries and his local church.

Rick Sovitzky

Rick heads up the ERP software implementation team at C&G Consulting. He focuses on analyzing business processes at companies and finding ways to streamline those processes through software implementations, automated data collection, reporting, and business intelligence.

Rick is active in the Alliott Group – he serves on the advisory board and coordinates an annual technology conference for Alliott Group members.

He lives in Milwaukee with his wife Sarah and five children.

Rick received his Master’s degree in Management Information Systems and his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Michael Senkbeil

Mike brought system integration experience to the business technology consulting team when he joined C&G Consulting in 1997. His expertise lies in the network infrastructure and IT support aspects of business technology.

He manages the support center and network integration teams at C&G Consulting.

Mike lives in Merton with his wife and two children. He donates his time as a network design consultant to a church and parochial school near his home.
