C&G identified missing child tax credits on an individual’s income tax return previously prepared by a national CPA firm. C&G represented a client in the IRS audit of their mortgage interest expense deductions. IRS initially issued a significant tax due; however, C&G noticed errors in the IRS calculations. Per C&G’s request, IRS re-examined the case agreed with C&G's calculation of no additional tax due.
